We are a specialist law firm dedicated to providing services in the areas of probate applications, powers of attorney, reseals, estate administration, will making and estate and will litigation. We have a particularly strong presence in all matters relating to litigation involving wills and estates including testator family maintenance claims.

Ken Collins B Ec, LLB, TEP

Ken is the principal of Wills & Probate Victoria. He has been a legal practitioner since 1982 and since admission has always practiced in the areas of wills and estates. Ken is one of the few lawyers in Melbourne who has the depth of experience necessary to assist your clients in all matters relating to wills and estates.

Ken has been accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a wills and estate specialist since 1993 - the first year that this type of accreditation commenced. He is the co-author of the Wills, Probate and Administration Services, Victoria, a two-volume publication which is a leading loose-leaf services dealing with wills and estates for legal practitioners in Victoria. Ken has also been the editor of the Wills & Probate Bulletin since 1996 and has been the co-convenor of the Wills & Probate Conference since 1995. This conference is held in Melbourne each year and attracts delegates from all over Australia.

Since 1997 Ken has conducted regular workshops for lawyers in the areas of wills and estates for the Leo Cussen Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
